It is said some Indians believe that the night air is filled with dreams, both good and bad. A dream catcher moves freely in the night air and catches the dreams as they float by. The good dreams slip through the center hole and slide gently down the feather. The bad dreams become entangled in the webbing and perish in first light of the new day.
